With the exception of the transition year  of 2011 (Gold Pants Gate) OSU has been performing at an stratospheric levels! You can correlate the coaches with the years.

OSU Running backs 1967 – 1970: Jim Otis, John Brockington, Leo Hayden: By the numbers

The great teams of 1968 – 70 are known for great QB leadership of Rex Kern and on defense Jack Tatum.  The three running backs here – Jim Otis, John Brockington, Leo Hayden were huge cogs in the Buckeye machine.

Archie versus Zeke: By the Numbers

Two stellar OSU backs from different eras.  It is tempting to give the edge to Zeke based on his 10% greater production per career.  Zeke also carried the OSU offense on his back to a national championship.
