This is AP’s list of the best programs of all time. If you exclude Nebraska (who’s best days were before they moved to the Big Ten) the only two Big Ten teams in the top ten are OSU and Michigan. Michigan’s last National championship was in 1997. Hopefully this year is the beginning of a resurgence of the Big Ten. OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Penn State are in the mix and even teams like Iowa and Indiana are in the mix.
The Big Ten Network published their own list of the Best Big Ten Teams in the past 25 years. OSU had 3 of the top 5 spots.
